This Hackney bag features a soild brass name plate off a Halter from the Stalilon Pacer Trouble Maker.
Trouble Maker was born in the 80’s and Sired numerous talanted Racehorses in NZ and Australia.
I had the privilage to purchase his Halter.
Handbag made from Vintage Repurposed Saddle Leather perfectly worn and aged.
Rein strap made from repurposed reins
Inside a leather zippered pocket for your smalls.
Finished with brass hardware.
Edges are burnished, sealed, and finished with Beeswax for longevity.

Story of origin.
We hunt out unwanted vintage leather saddles and tack gear. The vintage saddle is cleaned, restored, and carefully dismantled to allow the leather to be pressed flat.
A bag is carefully designed, and handmade in a way that highlights the unique quality of the rejuvenated vintage saddle leather.
